The defect
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Infiniti QX60 vehicles. The second-row adjustable seat may extend past the intended rear stopper point and may be difficult to move, become stuck, or fail to lock in the correct position.
The risk
A seat that becomes stuck or fails to lock in a secured position may not properly restrain the occupant during a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
The fix
Dealers will remove and replace the second-row seat, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PC953.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Is my car affected?

Being on this list means your year, make and model fall inside campaign 23V108000. It does not mean your individual car does: a campaign covers a range of VINs built in a specific window, and cars either side of that window are untouched.

Check the 17-character VIN from the driver-side dashboard or door jamb against NHTSA's lookup. If it is covered, the dealer must do the work free of charge, regardless of the car's age or mileage.
